Good morning. Yesterday I found myself to be in a bit of a difficult situation. My car broke down at Riversands at School Road which is really not a safe place for a woman to be stranded on her own. I have insurance which also offers road side assistance however after 20 minutes of being stranded on my own and several phone calls later I still did not have confirmation that anyone was on their way to help me. Two angels from your company (Moses and Orbet) stopped to ask if I was okay. They immediately identified the problem and really went out of their way to help me. One of them stayed with me whilst the other went to his personal vehicle to fetch a spark plug spanner and within minutes I was on my way again. I don’t carry cash on me and wasn’t even able to buy them a cool drink, not that they expected anything in return for their good deed. Thank you Moses and Orbet! People like you make this world a better place! Our country needs more of you. I really hope that someone will do the same for you one day, when you may be in need of help. Kindly forward my letter to Moses and Orbet as well as to management and feel free to use it as a reference.
I just wanted to make known, that two of your armed response guards were very helpful yesterday and deserve acknowledgment. Some criminals tried to steal my telkom line yesterday from the vlei side and in doing so triggered my electric fence. They had cut the wire and in doing so left half of it behind which then fell onto the electric fence and was shorting it out. I pressed my panic button and two armed response officers (Skhumbuzo R261 and Williams Gordyi) arrived and I explained the situation. I asked them to please do a perimeter sweep and go into the vlei behind my back garden if possible to see if all okay and have a look at what can be done about my fence that was shorting. They were so happy to assist and had no problem carrying a step ladder through my neighbours property into the vlei behind my house to check my fence. They removed the leftover wire that was shorting the fence and did it with a smile. This is truly remarkable. Thanks to them I could put my electric fence back on for the rest of the day. Well done TRSS ! My neighbour had a similar situation on Monday with criminals trying to steal telkom cable and one of your armed response vehicles (not sure the name of the officer) chased them with his car for some time but unfortunately lost them. Thumbs up to this officer as well.
Halloween as usual was a success. Thank you for your role in it. Unfortunately there was an incident where a patron misbehaved. She was a guest of Busi’s and she harassed Helen and her guests to such an extent that security had to be called in (Mpho must be complimented on the way he handled it) and he escorted her out of restaurant. We do not want this lady to be allowed back to the restaurant, we trust that you will agree with our stance and also to develop with Busi that she is responsible for the behaviour of her guests an she must ensure that this lady does not come back to restaurant.
Just a quick note to say thank you for the excellent service that we received from you and your team. Your response and turnaround time on installing beams and on ensuring security at night until the beams could be installed, was priceless! I was very impressed with the fact that on the first call from your centre, early hours of the morning, the men on the ground and the men in the control room, knew of all the changes at our property and were in complete control of the situation. Well done TRSS.
I just want to thank the Tactical Team for attending to the Break-in into our property in Fourways at 04h20 this morning. A very Special & highly appreciative thanks goes out to Clinton whom went out of his way & followed thru with the investigations of how the perpetrator got thru in & out of our properties & now have so conclusive evidence on how they did get in …. Thanks to Clinton for his side of the investigation going back & forth as we hope we do find this thief soon…
I would like to compliment you on the very prompt reaction to a call out early this morning (about 2:30am) when an attempt was made to cut through the boundary fence between the Norscott Kopjies Reserve and the Boulders. The intruders eventually departed rather hastily.
